Flight Frenzy

It was supposed to be so easy.
Landing at 23:00 in Luton airport, London. Wasting ~7 hours in the terminal, playing Carcassonne. Hopping on the 07:10 flight to Schiphol airport, Amsterdam, and being picked up by the Sterrenburgs at around 09:30. Sounds simple enough, right?

As always with us – it’s chaos once again.
We’ve been planning for weeks now, how is there suddenly so little time?
Quick last mails and phone calls (how come we still don’t have our insurance sorted out?), intertwined with a random shove of this or that warm shirt or thermic underwear into the rucksack. Choose your favorite book (there is space for only one), throw in your nicest cologne, don’t forget the camera charger. Should I pack my tie, even though tweetie doesn’t send the most mature message? Bah, who cares, I’ve never been one for matureness. Cindy would balance me.
